What started out as a trip to the local bead shop to make a matching necklace for my daughter’s Jr. prom dress, has turned into a new and exciting endeavor. A suggested basic beading class there was all the introduction necessary to spark an interest in (and getting hooked on!) beading and jewelry making and more classes.

Through this adventure, I’ve found many new friends and buddies to share this passion with (along with shopping for “jewels”). They are my inspiration and continue to help encourage the development and grooming of my skills. Many of them have introduced me to the various styles and mediums of my current jewelry now including the detailed beading and filigree work.
