Graphic design has always been my passion, since high school. Never thought I’d do anything else, until I took a beginning Glass Art class with Robert Herhusky, (the semester I graduated from Chico). After my first experience gathering hot glass & feeling the heat from the furnace I knew glass was my new favorite art medium. I actually stayed in Chico just to take Glass Art classes after I got my design degree. …the funny thing was the semester after I graduated, the hot shop caught fire and was shut down for a few months. That’s when I started silk-screening on glass, and slumping & fusing. When I'm not at my design job, I try to rent time at glass blowing studios as much as possible, or play with my 3 kilns. I also now blow glass with both my sister Cassie Kreft and my fiancee (by this show - Husband) Zach Abad.
